about

{AN} Eel says:
“So, I first became aware of Bonnie Kane via our mutual participation in Dylan Houser’s Quarantifest. I was jolted out of mental negativity when Bonne Kane’s set started - It was a very good feeling, and I knew in that moment that I wanted to collaborate - So here you have it. Created during Covid through file swapping, I really am pleased with the results - I am playing Vox, as well as sounds & noises. I’ve included natural images from a trip to New Zealand - for this was a very natural & intuitive collaboration, that I found completely uplifting. For that, I’d like to thank Bonnie & also dedicate this to the healing nature of sounds - Thank you for your interest.”

BONNIE KANE says:
“I consider the proliferation of online collaborations to be one of the few good things that has come out of these Pandemic Times. It took something this drastic to make us reach out beyond physical space, develop new ways to create, and discover new collaborators. Thankfully, {AN} Eel heard something in my work and reached out to me. I contributed my part and left the vision and final mix to him. The result is music that is excitingly way different than any of my other releases, and a new way of hearing for me . It is something that only could have happened in this way. We live in different countries and we have never met. And because of that, the music has a purity of focus - it’s just the sounds. Thank you {AN} Eel.
