I am a life-long improvisor, using saxophone, flute, electronics, and feedback in both solo and group situations. Irritations, Inflammations and Uprisings is a live solo album featuring 5 noise performances from the last few years, that are standing my self-critical test of time.

Solo performance is, for me, an endless dive into the center of sound. There is immense freedom there: to follow a frequency, hold a harmonic, to channel melody, to flow into discoveries. The challenge is to maintain presence; to get so within the sound, as to be the sound. The power from the truth and purity of that focus propels the vibration from soul to soul, turning sound into the magic life force that connects us all.
